Ginger & the General (Comic Series #2)

I made this comic strip during Children's Day, so I dedicate it to all the children around the world, and not just children today, but also children in the past and the inner-child of every adult.

I like this episode, it shows how innocent and thougthful a child can be. It's actually another childhood memory of my mom. Well, she's become the source of my inspiration now.

Sometime, I wonder why I have always been so interested in childhood life, but it's just that, I love and admire children. I wish every parent can provide the best childhood any child deserve, because it is the foundation of our inner strength.

  2. LOl..when you were a kid, did you ever hear older people scare you with that name 'Pror mat pror Mong"? I don't know where the name comes from, but it did sound scary when we were young. LOL...Thank for the like* :D

  3. Yes, definitely. They scared me with the same thing, I never had the gut to walk alone on the street without older people. It was a good thing though, it protected us from strangers :)

  4. Hello:

I am Jessica Francis. I am from Germany. I am now conducting a research study on Bloggers in Cambodia as part of my master thesis. This master thesis analyses the role of blogs, especially Journalistic Gatekeeper Blogs, in the Cambodian Media system.

The Freedom of Press in Cambodia is concerned not free by Freedom House. TV and Radio are mostly controlled by the government and only a few newspapers dare write critically about the government or certain connected subjects - then fearing defamation and threats.

This survey is the foundation of the master thesis trying to give an overview of the complete blogosphere in Cambodia.

Resulting from this survey in a more advanced stage this thesis will focus on blogs on subjects as society, human rights, politics etc. (Journalistic Gatekeeper Blogs)

The aim is to show in which extent these blogs take over the function of traditional media in Cambodia for the Internet is mostly free from censorship. Although only used by 1 percent of the Cambodians the www is an upcoming platform of expression particularly for young people. Cambodian bloggers are organized as cloggers since 2007.
