Just thoughts...again.

So I just printed out a complete translation of the Emerald Tablets. It's an ancient tablets that are indestructible (at least that's what I heard). I got curious about what message they contains for modern day life. What the ancient gods have in common and stuff.

Then I thought to myself, how many people like me who are curious about this kind of things? I know I'm not the only one, but everyone I know, including my bestie who is as weird as I am, doesn't seem to care much about this.

I have passed the stage of self-discovery since my teen years. I no longer question why I am the way I am, I just simply accept it. And there are a lot of things people don't know about me. The things I do that I keep to myself, like how at one point I was kind of engrossed with watching documentary of women giving birth, which I reassure you, you're not gonna find it pretty at all, but for some reasons, this unspoken reality entices me. In fact, all the strange and mysterious possibilities interest me, like what if the Planet Mars used to have civilizations, how we no longer use the Pineal Gland that is actually the eye of our mind, or even something as petty as how sloths don't go extinct if they're that slow?

I'm amazed by too many things. I know a lot too, but mostly useless information: bananas evolved from grass, the original name of the butterfly is 'flutterby' and so on. Sometimes I feel lonely because I couldn't tell it to anyone, because I know if I do, they wouldn't be as excited as I am. Besides, ain't nobody got time for that!

But I have had experienced of meeting someone who just understood whatever I wanted to convey, no matter how bizarre it sounds. I was like, "Do you think there were people in the past who looked up at the same spot in the sky as we do right now?" and it was the best feeling in the world when that person responded, 'Yes, yes, it's highly possible,' without looking at me like I'm a nerdy loon.

I just missed that.

  1. I have a friend in the US with the name Sovathary. Do know what the name means translated in English? I am very interested to know. Thank you!
    Happy New Year!

    1. That's nice of you to try and find out the meaning of her name (it's a girl name, so I know it's a she). It's a very rare one and not many people know what it means even they have it (you can try and ask her if she knows it).

Sovathary means 'prosperity, well-being and happiness'. Sovathary also resembles to another name Sovathara, which is the name of the earth goddess. :)

Let's be friends...i don't bite..
